Who is responsible for your data
Mario Web Studio is run by Mario Arapakis, based in the Netherlands. I am the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach me at marioarapakis@gmail.com.
What I collect and why
Enquiry form
If you use the form, I receive your name, your agency and your email address. I use them to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (UK GDPR and EU GDPR, Article 6(1)(b)). Form submissions are delivered by Formspree.
Call bookings
If you book a call, the booking tool (Cal.com) collects your name, email address and anything you add to the booking. I use it to hold the call. The legal basis is the same as for the form.
Business outreach
I contact independent estate agencies that are limited companies or LLPs by email, about websites. For this I use business contact details that the agency publishes itself, such as the name and work email address on its website or its record at Companies House. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in offering my services to businesses that may need them (Article 6(1)(f)). Every email says who I am and how to opt out.
If you reply asking me to stop, I will not email you again. I keep your email address on a do-not-contact list only so that I can make sure of that.
Who else handles it
I use a small number of providers to run this site and these tools: Vercel (hosting), Formspree (the form) and Cal.com (bookings). Some of them store data outside the UK and the European Economic Area, under the standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. I do not sell personal data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How long I keep it
Enquiries and outreach records that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months of our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as Dutch tax law requires (currently seven years). The do-not-contact list is kept for as long as I do outreach.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The booking calendar, once you open it, is provided by Cal.com and may set the cookies it needs to work.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask me to correct or delete it, and object to its use for outreach at any time. Email marioarapakis@gmail.com. If you are not happy with my answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK or the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) in the Netherlands.
